PC makers looking to make ‘downgrade’ of vista easy
Microsoft is pushing
This program applies to Vista Business and Ultimate versions. It is really up to the PC makers to decide how exactly they want XP to be available. Fujitsu has been the most aggressive on this count. They have been including XP distribution disc in it laptop and tablet boxes.
A Microsoft representative confirmed that there were changes made to make this option available to end users. According to the Microsoft’s end users license terms Vista Business and Vista Ultimate have had the option from the beginning, though implementing the decision could be a challenge.

There’s always resistance to change quite often. But demand from business users to stick with XP has been particularly strong. Looks like Microsoft is being very practical about this whole thing.
