Microsoft gave up to Google

Finally Microsoft gave up, and have to give consent to modify its Windows Vista search feature, in wake to antitrust accusations by Google last week.
The report came on 19th June, from a decision from US department of Justice. Earlier Google had complained that Microsoft has developed its search feature in Windows Vista, such that it doesn’t leaves any way for users to use a different search engine (including Google).
After the decision Microsoft announced that the modification for it will be released along with a beta service pack for Vista, due to be announced later this year.
Our take: Google has, to some extent succeeded in compelling Microsoft, to lower down its monopoly that it shows off through its Operating system and its features, on which most computers of the planet run.
