Windows Mobile Update
Microsoft plans to update its Windows Mobile device as well as make some changes to the Internet Explorer Mobile. The Windows Mobile version 6.1 is now on the works with new features as well as Silverlight and Flash support which makes video playback possible. Because of this, using mobile devices that makes use of the Mobile Windows may become easier. The updated version will lessen the complexity of the mobile device. In addition, it will add also support for some features.
One major issue with the Windows Mobile is actually its user interface because it looks quite convoluted. It is also quite difficult for some people to use especially because while Microsoft tried hard to make the system appear like a desktop, the result was very much different from their original intention. The previous version was hard and complicated for the average person to use.
According to Microsoft the new 6.1 version will be much easier to set-up and handle. It has a new “Getting Started” section which will guide the user in setting up his Bluetooth, e-mail, headset, and Wi-Fi. The new version of the Window Mobile will become available by the second quarter of the year and the new Internet Explorer Mobile will appear in Smartphones by the end of 2008.
