Google Launches Moblie Platform : Andriod

 

Andriod is the latest mobile software platform that is being developed by Google. Google is developing android by collaborating with thirty other leading technology companies and wireless development authorities. This software is being developed so as to bettering the users experience on today’s mobile phone basis. As a part of the project the companies involved will strive to develop various technologies that will greatly reduce the cost of distributing mobile devices and services.

This project has been in development for over three years now. This development was started in the year of about 2005 in the Silicon Valley under a Google supported project. This platform is a combination of various different software or a software stack that consists of an operating system a middleware as well as a user friendly interface and other applications that are helpful to the user. Android was developed on the open source kernel linux. This would allow developers full flexibility to modify and create new programs so as to meet and adjust to the developing needs of the users. As an example, an application can be used to call upon some of the phones basic functions such as making a call or using the camera etc.
