Don’t get the misconception that “Google Hacking” means trying to hack the Google site because it isn’t. Google hacking is a term widely used by both good guys and bad when they want to monitor security. However, with the introduction of a new Google program known as Goolag, the balance could tip in the favor of bad guys.
This is because the Google hacking data mining technique is used to uncover sensitive materials over the internet. With the new program, the process that used to require extensive manual labor can not be automated. You might be wondering about the origins of Google hacking though. Well, it is the kind of searching technique that abuses flaws in the method that websites handle personal details. For example, files that contain credit card numbers and passwords can be hacked in these criminals.
This process works by examining the hidden areas of a website which had been indexed by search engines although it does not appear in traditional searches. There are times when websites posts these sensitive data by accident or these sites have not been correctly configured to protect its sensitive areas. As you can see, the process of Google hacking is definitely dangerous for users.
