Olympus Stylus 820 Digital Camera
Unlike most Olympus digital camera, the Stylus 820 is water-resistant. If you think this is a good thing, think again because most other Olympus cameras are waterproof and shockproof. This means that while the Stylus 820 can survive occasional raindrops and some splashes, you may be buying a new camera pretty soon if you drop it into a pool of water.
But other than that, the Stylus 820 is functional; it has 5X zoom lens which is around twice longer compared to other Olympus models. It also has the Help Guide in the camera just like the FE-280 so you can learn about descriptions of photographic task and the camera will adjust the settings accordingly.
Similar to the FE-280 as well as the SW series, the Stylus 820 is also available in different colors including baby blue, bright red, black, and silver. Its external features look alright although the buttons are difficult to press; in addition, these buttons are also shiny and hard to read.
Overall though, the Stylus 820 is s good camera that takes good pictures. It stands out because of its exposure quality and color accuracy. But take note that despite its 8 megapixel feature, the Stylus 820 has below average sharpness and distortion features.
