Creative Zen V Plus
Whatever your opinion about Creative and Apple may be, one thing is undeniable, both companies produce great MP3 players that make consumers want more. Creative’s newest effort, the Zen V Plus player, is a flash-based gadget that is aimed at rivaling the Nano line from Apple. And with its 2 GB capacity as well as its competitive price, this gadget is surely a serious competition to Apple Nano.
Actually, the Zen V and the Zen V Plus can come in a variety of capacities which range form 1GB to 4 GB; it is up to the user to decide which one will work for them. Both of these models can come with voice recorder and a 1.2 inch OLED screen that displays high quality photos. Meanwhile, the Zen V Plus can play videos and it also has an FM tuner. A great aspect is that both models can work with the Play for Sure content and handle complements of MP3, audible files, and WMA files.
Of course, being a popular MP3 player, you can expect great sound quality from the Zen line. However, its video viewing capacity leaves much to be desired because although it has a video converter, watching anything that last for more than a minute in this player seem silly.

T-Mobile Sidekick ID
The newest addition to the Sidekick family is now here. The T-Mobile Sidekick ID is a cell phone/PDA hybrid that offers user extensive features and functionality. Compared to most of the Sidekick family though, this particular model is the “low-rent” version because of the low costs associated with it. It has no SD card compartment or camera. And in the place of Sidekick 3 metallic casing is the gray plastic bumpers. The hybrid’s dimensions remain relatively unchanged at 2.5 inches by 5.1 inches; its 0.9 inches thick.
It is easy to make calls using this device because you don’t need to swing away from the display like other cell phone/PDA hybrids. However, when you need to key-in a particular number, you will need to go to the keyboard and swivel the screen back. Voice quality is excellent but this is only to be expected from a T-Mobile Sidekick model.
One weakness of the T-Mobile Sidekick ID is its washed-out display although users are not actually complaining because the screen looks as good as higher-end models. And despite the fact that there is no camera or an expansion card compartment, the device comes with image album software and you may use it to save e-mail attachments and .jpg images.
