IndianPad or indianPIRATE ?
As we all know social bookmarking has become a new trend among Bloggers and Internet Surfers where they can ‘Bookmark’ the pages they like, Publicly to share with others Digg is of course the leader among them all so whats the harm ? Well no nothing till now but when i visited the site IndianPad.com ( indianpad = what Indians social bookmark ? ) was kindda disturbed, the Proud Indian feel just vanished off my heart ! Using such a domain and the site is flooded with links to warez sites and many blogs having same content, links to ” latest Songs, Movies ” especially from South India
So starting about some info about the Website i simply did a search at Google
Here are some parts of the results :

Thats not enough go to the different Sections, seems like those are just meant for Piracy !

- Audio Section has Nothing Except Direct links to Latest ( of course illegal) Songs and yes, no need to even download Play them in integrated Player or Enqueue forĀ future !
- Under Entertainment - Movies !

Yes i know there will be many such sites but using the name IndianPad is like showing the world where India stands and not too shocking Indianpad is at the top in search engines just Google up with any latest song title and see the name, “indianpad” !
Sites like IndianPad are not only Helping current ‘ Pirates ‘ but also inspiring new bloggers to create new blogs and webpages regarding such illegal stuff and earn Via Adsense and other services by enjoying great visits from IndianPad
Running up a Website using Country’s name ! and the owner is not even concerned about the Content ? Obviously getting high visits from these content
Popularity: 5%

Like always Comments are Welcomed
They do have an active DMCA policy which is enforced pretty strictly.
Check http://www.indianpad.com/story/88899
Well making Policies is easy following them is important and for this
this case i am glad that they banned such post but there are many really many same content listed there, hope they will fix those tooo.

Inferno
EDIT : I did some study over this at indianPad they don’t ban any content unless some one complaints for that, and the posts are banned quickly and reported as spam only when flooding is done my any user.
Thats b****hit, its like saying all the stories posted there are about illegal downloads
Well not all but the 80% part of section discussed here is total illegal stuff.
You can check Your self:)
DMCA only requires you to take copyright stuff down when you get a notice so they are complaint with the law.
Also, these stories only survive cause people vote for them. Its democracy at its chaotic best.
yeah, democracy ?
To share illegal stuff !
Its like giving people right to chose and then rob a bank !
hmm but what can they do “Indians” are with them enjoying mutual benefits u know
“80% part of section discussed here is total illegal stuff”
Agreed, but what ‘%’ of such stuff make to the homepage, on a given day you will hardly see more than 1 such post on home page, and regular users never vote for such stuff they get those votes through anonymous votes from indianpad widget on their blogs
even on youtube 90% of videos posted are illegal and load of crap
yeah, even i agree to this !
but you know brother what hurted me most was the fact this all is going under the ‘indian’ tag.
Illegal links should be removed asap from indianpad.
india mei sab illegal hai
Folks,
1. IndianPad (IP) never claimed to the sole representative of India.
2. IP does not post content - users do
3. The content posted on IP is there because users liked it and voted for it - unlike this blog, for example, where readers are forced to read the author’s version.
4. Who qualified you to decide what is legal and what isn’t?
Remember, it’s easy to criticize others rather than doing something oneself. So go easy on the criticism and make some constructive suggestions to improve things - if you are mature enough.
