Blinking Controls iPod?
Undeniable, the Apple iPod is one of the greatest success stories ever told with regards to technological gadgets today. If you have not been living under a rock for all these time, then you probably know that the iPod is more than just a music player, it is now part of our popular culture. There are iPods with a variety of functions and memory capabilities. So it is no wonder that there are various accessories that had been developed to enhance its look and its features.
One of the most notable features that had been created is the new Japanese technology that enables users to control their iPod with a blink of the eye…literally. This technology uses sensors that will be connected to the headphone or the glass of the user which is known as the KomeKami Switch (the Temple Switch).
The infrared sensors will be able to generate electric signals which will relay messages to your iPod. If you wink for one second, the iPod player will go back one track; and if you wink your other eye, the iPod will skip to the next track. Closing both your eyes will cause the iPod to play or to pause. And the amazing thing is that this system works throughout the day as the user goes through his normal activities.
