PC makers looking to make ‘downgrade’ of vista easy
Microsoft is pushing
This program applies to Vista Business and Ultimate versions. It is really up to the PC makers to decide how exactly they want XP to be available. Fujitsu has been the most aggressive on this count. They have been including XP distribution disc in it laptop and tablet boxes.
A Microsoft representative confirmed that there were changes made to make this option available to end users. According to the Microsoft’s end users license terms Vista Business and Vista Ultimate have had the option from the beginning, though implementing the decision could be a challenge.
Microsoft changed its practices in June to allow computer makers selling pre-activated
There’s always resistance to change quite often. But demand from business users to stick with XP has been particularly strong. Looks like Microsoft is being very practical about this whole thing.

Share your music on from your Ipods with MiShare
![]()
If you’ve got an Ipod, say welcome to a new invention which is recently doingthe rounds. The most recent hot news on the Internet is THE MiShare.
The tiny little itty-bitty seems to do exactly what its supposed to do albeit a little slowly. If you still can’t recall what’s a MiShare then It’s time to get out of the stupor you’re in.
The MiShare is a tiny bitty Linux-based thingamajig with a couple of iPod docking ports which can be used to transfer files from one iPod to another. Although the operating procedure is pretty simple and quick — It’s really a little slow.
Any standard iPod which is 5G or an older generation works perfectly with the MiShare as long as they have 30-pin connectors.
A hidden feature of the MiShare is that you can transfer any file from one iPodto another a slong as you labelthe file “miShare Photos,” as the system gets fooled into thinking the files are photos rather than any type of files. So you can actually transfer anything from one Ipod to another.
Great right!

The Iphone:How good is it?

Trust Apple to hype its new iphone to the sky.The media hype was almost equivalent to Harry Potter’s imminent and wholly imaginary death. But does the iphone deserve the hype and media hoopla which Apple generated for its new iphone.
Let just find out, shall we?
Appearance-OOOOOOOh, pretty little thing said the girlie’s. Just like a smooth polished little pebble and so smart looking too! I guess everyone likes the way it looks, so that’s not a problem.
Multi touch-You can tweak, pinch, push and tap on the screen to get really neat results. Its got an electronic sensor field which allows it to sense pinching and tweaking actions around the screen.
Accelerometer-Darn but that so cool! A device which allows it to sense whether its vertical or horizontal and adjusts the screen accordingly!
Proximity Sensor-I was kinda wondering about this, through out the day you inadvertently can touch the screen resulting in the mobile coming on.But this device is way cool in turning the touch screen off when you get a call or at rest.
There’s only one thing I can say about the apple iphone;
OH PLEASE,PLEASE WHEN CAN I GET ONE?

Hacking or Unlocking might make iphone permanently inoperable
Apple has said, at the time of the launch in end June, that it expects to sell 1 million units of the iPhone by the end of this month. Apple said it has sold 270,000 of this gadget in the first two days of launch.
Apple Inc said on Monday that programs available on the Internet that allow the iPhone to be used with other service providers besides AT&T’s Cingular network can irreparably damage the device. They said that once an Apple supplied software upgrade is installed on the device it “ will likely result in the modified iPhone becoming permanently inoperable.”
Asked how widespread the practice of downloading unlocking software, he replied, “We do not know.” “We are not doing anything proactively to disable iPhones that have been hacked or unlocked”, said Phil Schiller, Apple’s head of worldwide product marketing told Reuters.
