Google and American Airlines Row
Its again this time after losing to Louis Vuitton SA in the French court last year, Google has been accused of selling search words involving its name “American Airlines”. Pay-per-click is Google’s main source of revenue and was also a target of an Australian commision a few months back.
American Airlines lawsuit filed on 16th August accuses Google of violating trademark laws and getting into the service of selling trademark words for search related results. Terms like AA.com and American Airlines are reserved terms and several companies can make use of these google to use American Airlines brand name for its publicity.
Google opposed the lawsuit saying that there is a fine balance between the trademark words and consumer’s interests. They are trying their best to avoid these kinds of rows. Finally the result it that Google has to be more alert about its search related results as it has already seen some setbacks in Louis Vuitton and some more cases earlier.

Gbrowser….Yes it is really going to be real, Maybe
Finally yes, see this evidence:
Finally it seems what was cooking in Great Google’s kitchen, is prepared now. Talks were going for many time, about a new, more safer and stable, and yet a new interface browser from Google.
It seems very genuine, because of the fact of many bugs, in both infamous Internet Explore, and popular Firefox too. Here is what Naturalsearchblog has to say:
According to Ryan Naraine, Google has hired well-known browser hacker Michal Zalewski to help make their products more secure.
Zalewski has an established history of exposing security holes in various software products, particularly the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers…
I can’t help but wonder if they could be wanting him specifically to help vet a Google Browser. As you may recall, there’s been supposition for years now that Google could be looking to build their own browser. Although Google executives have previously demurred, saying they would only build a browser only “…if we thought there was a real user benefit,” whois records show that they must’ve considered that very possibility since they registered a domain name for “gbrowser.com“.
Of course, Zalewski’s talents could be intended to be used on any of a number of other applications such as the Google Toolbar.
We can’t completely escape the fact that having their own browser could be very advantageous and complimentary to their various other products and initiatives, particularly as they are now competing overtly with the various products from Microsoft.
Our take: It is definitely going to be a new and better revolution from Google, and who knows we get to taste a new taste of cool browser after FIREFOX and SAFARI?

Yahoo surpasses Google in customer satisfaction
It may sound weird but its a reality that Yahoo has surpassed Google in customer satisfaction according to University of Michigan American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Yahoo saw a 3.9% increase in its score to 79% whereas Google’s rating fell 3.7% to 78 points out of the maximum 100.
Both Google and Yahoo have their own hold over the Internet. Google remains a major search engine whereas Yahoo is already in many areas where Google is still to step in. Google is launching one product after the other, undertaking acquisitions to expand its market. Some of its famous acquisitions include Picasa, Feedburner, Blogger etc. One more cited reason for this satisfaction is Yahoo’s regular changes in its page design and new looks and feels.
Other rivals in this Index were Ask.com, a search engine company with a total of 75 points and AOL with 67 points.
